2022 Subaru BRZ Exterior Design

Outside, the BRZ captures its racing prowess with a very aggressive appearance focused on aerodynamics while still being a pleasure to look at. The BRZ subtly hints at vintage race cars with a "double bubble" roofline and fender flares while maintaining a modern look with aggressive headlights and functional air intakes, side vents to reduce drag, and side spoilers to create downforce at higher speeds. The rear end brings a ducktail spoiler and dual exhaust tips. 2022 brings a wider, longer, and shorter BRZ. The 2022 BRZ has a 101.4-inch wheelbase, is 167.9 inches long, is 69.9 inches wide, and 51.6 inches tall. 17-inch alloy wheels are standard, while 18-inch alloys are available on the Limited trim. While depending on the transmission type and trim level, the BRZ only weighs right around 2,850 lbs. Making it the lightest production vehicle! The BRZ focuses on providing drivers with a precise, smooth, and exhilarating ride. It achieves this with a low center of gravity, sharp handling, and a lightweight frame.

What type of power will the 2022 BRZ Get?

The 2022 BRZ will be powered by Subaru's 2.4L naturally aspirated flat-four Boxer engine, adds Toyota's D-4S direct-injection fuel system, and provides a hefty 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter is standard, while a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters is an available option. A limited-slip rear differential is now standard across the whole BRZ lineup.
