The highlights of my story begin with my father—Burton Hughes, Senior, who served as a pastor in Hawaii in the 1960’s, and include the inspiration of my grandfather—Lewis Hughes, who sold Studebaker automobiles following World War II. I began my automotive career at 19 years old, and advanced to Branch Manager of Big Island Honda / Mercedes-Benz by the age of 29. At 30 years of age, I entered full-time pastoral ministry in Kona, Hawaii, and eventually moved with my family to Las Vegas, Nevada in December 1999, to establish a brand new church. After 18 years of full-time ministry, I resumed the automotive career I was always so passionate about, and have been the general manager of Subaru of Las Vegas since August 2007. I believe my Calling and my Career go hand-in-hand, and it is my daily prayer that I would faithfully lead my staff to serve our customers and community as we should serve our Creator. It was that very principle that guided me in growing Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas to a consistent rank among the top 25 Subaru Retailers in the nation, and influenced Subaru of America to award Subaru of Las Vegas the 2023 Subaru Love Promise Retailer of the Year. I have been married to my teenage sweetheart, Toni Chambliss Hughes for 48 years; have three children, Cameron (Laury) Hughes, Emma (Danielle) Moore, and Elizabeth (Kevin) Farias, who have blessed me with five amazing grandchildren. Outside of my role and responsibilities at Subaru of Las Vegas and Life Christian Church, I enjoy traveling between Las Vegas, Southern California, and Kona, Hawaii to enjoy time with my family.

Hello! My name is Scott McCoy General Sales Manager of Subaru of Las Vegas. My wife Jenny and I are originally from Nebraska and moved to Las Vegas in 2008.  We have three brilliant children, Harrison, Bennett, and Sawyer. My time away from the store is mainly spent keeping these three entertained, happy, and healthy, its a full time job! I started with Subaru of Las Vegas in 2016 as the Pre-Owned Vehicle Manager. Before coming to Subaru of Las Vegas I spent many years with CarMax. This was my first venture into automotive retailing and I started in the Sales Department. Looking to better understand the business I made my way into the Buying Department focusing on vehicle acquisition and market conditions. At this point I had already spent the last 15 years in a sales or sales management role, so to take on a position that allowed me to better understand the business from an alternative perspective was exciting! My vision at Subaru of Las Vegas is to continue the work of those before me. To create and embrace an environment where people come first. To provide our team with the tools and resources they need to be successful both professionally and personally. To empower our team to do the right things for the right reasons. We are here to serve, to serve our associates and to serve our guests. Creating a great customer experience is not only about process, honesty, integrity, and great communication. Its about establishing a great associate experience. Humanizing the associate experience empowers the team to provide a great customer experience, that starts with trust. My name is Coty Dehnert and I have been given the opportunity to join the Subaru of Las Vegas family as the new Parts & Service Director and I could not be more thrilled. I've been asked to introduce myself and share a little about my background and who I am. I promise to try to keep this brief. I was born and raised in the small coastal Oregon town of Waldport in a community of about 2,000 people, which may have only been given an actual name due to the one stoplight where historic Highway 101 and Highway 34 intersect. I was lucky enough to live there until I was eighteen years old when, like most small-town kids I fled for the big city as soon as possible. I say lucky because I was blessed enough to graduate high school with the same friends I went to elementary school with and build the type of friendships that only come from growing up together. My passions growing up all revolved around baseball, football, basketball, my true love of wrestling, and of course cars. In sports, I learned about teamwork, leadership, work ethic, and how to win and lose with grace. When my time in Waldport was done I moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I started my path in the automotive service field. I attended a two-year automotive technician program while working as a parts runner for Chevrolet. I fell in love with the desert during my time in Phoenix; after all being from the Oregon coast sunshine can be hard to come by. Once I graduated tech school I returned to the Pacific Northwest and was hired on to a Portland, OR Lexus dealership as a lube technician. Things moved quickly for me at Lexus. I was given an apprenticeship with one of the very best technicians in the county, who brought me along quickly. My time at Lexus was integral to my growth in this industry but even more so personally as that is where I met my beautiful wife, and mother of my children, Wonji. Shortly after meeting Wonji and my three-year anniversary at Lexus, I was lured away to pursue an opportunity with Honda. I spent six years with Honda furthering my career as a technician where I eventually became a team leader and foreman. But the desert was always calling. The rain and "doom and gloom" of the northwest were just not for us. With my departure from Honda, I decided to shift gears and start writing service. Enter the Findlay Automotive Group. We moved to Las Vegas, NV where I was very fortunate to join Findlay Toyota where I began my service writing career. Over 10 years I advanced from an Advisor, to a Service Drive Manager, and then finally Service Manager. During that time Wonji and I put down our roots and started our family. We were blessed in the summer of 2014 with the birth of our daughter, Madison, and then in December of 2015 we welcomed our son, Austin. These days when I'm not at the dealership, I spend my time with family, hiking, swimming, and teaching my kids anything and everything I have to offer. Life is pretty good as they say. But that's enough about me. Before I wrap this up I want to touch on my love for Subies. Professionally I've always worked with other brands but Subaru has been my car of choice more than once. I fell in love with the rally-inspired all-wheel drive when the WRX came to North America. After years of following and rooting for our Rally teams and wanting a Subie of my own, I finally purchased a brand new 2014 STI from this very store. (A very fast and pleasant experience I might add!) Joining Subaru of Las Vegas feels like a very long time coming for me and I couldn't be more excited to be on this team and get even more involved in the Subaru community. Hi! My name is Andrea Rosa Castillo and I’m a Sales Floor Manager here at Subaru of Las Vegas. I’m a 3rd generation Las Vegas native and I am proud to call it my home. My husband Jay is a Thunderbird in the United States Air Force and we spend most of our free time with our children and Shiba Inus. I got my start in the car business in 2012 and haven’t looked back since. I’ve gone from being a Business Development Coordinator to Sales Floor Manager since joining the Subaru of Las Vegas family, for my 3rd time, in September 2017. These roles have given me an in depth look at what an amazing company Subaru is and just how important philanthropy is in the corporate world. I really enjoy the fast pace environment of this industry and look forward to working my way to being a General Manager one day.

Hello! My name is Ted Terry and I’m the Finance & Insurance Sales Manager at Subaru of Las Vegas. I grew up in Chicago and I finished high school and college in Wisconsin (Go Badgers). After graduation, It didn’t take me long to realize where I wanted my career to head. I started CarMax in 2000 and quickly grew to love the Auto Industry. I helped train and develop hundreds of Sales Consultants and several Sales Managers and General Managers. While at CarMax, I also met my amazing wife. We each helped grow our locations and enjoyed our time there as Sales Managers, but after 15 years, I was ready for a new adventure! I joined Subaru of Las Vegas in February 2015, and I’m so glad I did. Findlay Automotive has been an amazing company to work for. It didn’t take me long to know Subaru of Las Vegas would be like a second home. I’ve had the opportunity to hold several positions here and have enjoyed each of them. My goal is to train and develop each associate to their full potential with my specialty in Finance and Customer Service. I believe in the Findlay Auto Group and the Subaru brand. I help instill all the Love Promise and Findlay Cares qualities. After 22 years in the auto industry, I can’t wait to see what the future will hold. While I’m not at the store, I love spending time with my family, traveling and watching sports. I have two beautiful daughters who keep me busy with all of their sports and activities. I’m a huge Chicago sports fan and go to as many games as I can throughout the year. Now that the Raiders are here in Vegas, I go to all the home games to support our local team, but the Bears will always be my #1 team. I invite all customers to come into our beautiful store. I have been with Subaru for 21 years in January 2022. 15 in Colorado and 6 in Vegas in April 2022. I was born in Virginia, lived in N.Y. for 14 years. Buffalo, Rochester, Westchester outside of N.Y. city. I also went to College at CofC in Charleston S.C. I have two children, one girl who is 13 and a young man now 21. Miss and love them both, due to them living in the state of Washington with their mother. I enjoy playing golf, N.Y. Pizza, and traveling on my off time from work.

Hello my name is Mike Rocha,  Sales Manager here at Subaru of Las Vegas, I grew up in Monrovia California and moved to Las Vegas in 2001. Away form my second home I spend the rest of my time with my wife and 4 kids that usually keeps me pretty busy. HI! My name is Jaina McLean, and I am a Sales Floor Manager here at Subaru of Las Vegas. I have been with Subaru since my car industry career began in 2019, and SLV has solidified my career choice since moving to Las Vegas in August 2021. I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, and have a Bachelors and Master’s degree in Marketing Intelligence from Towson University (Go Tigers!) One fun fact about me is that I ran Division I Track & Field at TU, and we even won our conference championship my sophomore year! My hobbies include photography, running, building PCs, and traveling with our 3 dogs: Harley, Jax, and Pooja. My name is Ignacio Rojano (Iggy), Lot Manager at Subaru of Las Vegas.  Born in Puebla (Mexico), I have been in Vegas for the last 25 years. Married for the last wonderful 10 years to my beautiful wife Terrie (she’s gorgeous). I am a family person who loves doing outdoor activities with my family (fishing, camping, & hiking). Hello my name is Carmine Kopecky and I have had the pleasure and opportunity to be a part of this team for 4 years and running. I am currently the Service Manager of Subaru of Las Vegas. I am originally from Chicago Illinois, I was basically born in the car industry. My parents owned a body shop, mechanical shop, tow company as well as running the impound lot. I have been driving and working on cars since I was 9. My family did not want me to get into the car industry so I decided to go to college for Hospitality Management. After college I was given the opportunity for management at a few properties on Las Vegas Blvd. I stayed in that industry for 15 years and started my family, it was at that point the industry was taking a toll on my family life. While in college and a little after I was a service writer at a Toyota store and I really enjoyed it. 4 years ago I decided to take a step back to focus on my family and became a Service Advisor here at Subaru of Las Vegas. 3 years later I was given the opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills and was promoted to Service Drive manager than to Service Manager. For the past decade, I has been a dedicated Service Drive Manager at Subaru of Las Vegas, where we take pride in providing excellent customer service to all who visit the dealership.   Originally from the South Bay, I made the move to Las Vegas seven years ago and quickly fell in love with the city. Shortly after settling in, I met the love of my life, Victoryia, and happily married shortly after, we together rescued a lovely six year old Pomeranian dog named Gucci, whom we adore and now is a great addition to our family.   When I’m not at work, I enjoys spending quality time with my family, going on outings with my wife, and hosting family barbecues by the poolside. I also love to ride my Harley motorcycle and take trips to the beach, where I can relax and unwind.   With a passion for customer service and a knack for problem-solving, I’m dedicated to ensuring that every customer who visits Subaru of Las Vegas has a positive experience. Hi, I am Victor Fuentes-Pacheco (yes I have two last names) Parts Manager at Subaru of Las Vegas. I was born in Compton California, raised in Paramount California until age 16, then moved to fabulous Las Vegas. I graduated from Valley High School in 2007.  Met my wife Denise in 2007, and now we have 4 sons (Victor, Vicente, Valentino and Valente). I have been with Subaru of Las Vegas for 5 years and I have been in the automotive parts industry for 14 years.  I started at Checker Auto Part (which is O’Reilly Auto Parts now), then to Ed Bozarth as a parts counter person. I then had the opportunity to start working for the Subaru of Las Vegas family as a parts counter person and moved up from there to parts manager with the help of this amazing team.

I have been with Subaru for 21 years in January 2022. 15 in Colorado and 6 in Vegas in April 2022. I was born in Virginia, lived in N.Y. for 14 years. Hello my name is Carmine Kopecky and I have had the pleasure and opportunity to be a part of this team for 4 years and running. I am currently the Service Manager of Subaru of Las Vegas. I am originally from Chicago Illinois, I was basically born in the car industry. My parents owned a body shop, mechanical shop, tow company as well as running the impound lot. I have been driving and working on cars since I was 9. My family did not want me to get into the car industry so I decided to go to college for Hospitality Management. After college I was given the opportunity for management at a few properties on Las Vegas Blvd. I stayed in that industry for 15 years and started my family, it was at that point the industry was taking a toll on my family life. While in college and a little after I was a service writer at a Toyota store and I really enjoyed it. 4 years ago I decided to take a step back to focus on my family and became a Service Advisor here at Subaru of Las Vegas. 3 years later I was given the opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills and was promoted to Service Drive manager than to Service Manager. I was born in Compton California, raised in Paramount California until age 16, then moved to fabulous Las Vegas.
