Out of 74 vehicles tested by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety, Subaru outperformed them all! It should come as no surprise that during testing, the Subaru Legacy and Outback vehicles tested by the IIHS stood alone with perfect scores! Auto-stopping abilities were tested at both 12 and 25 MPH. Subaru's vehicles outperformed more expensive vehicles by other manufacturers.
