Subaru just pulled the cover off something big at the 2026 New York International Auto Show. The 2027 Subaru Getaway in Las Vegas, NV is a fully electric three-row SUV with room for up to seven people, more than 300 miles of range, and 420 horsepower. This is the largest EV Subaru has ever built. It comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, 8.3 inches of ground clearance, and EyeSight Driver Assist Technologies. We are getting ready to bring this one to our lot, and we think you are going to love it.

The Getaway runs on a standard 420-horsepower all-electric drivetrain paired with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. That means power goes to all four wheels at all times, keeping up the all-wheel-drive capability Subaru is known for. You also get dual-function X-MODE with Grip Control, which helps you keep traction on dirt, gravel, snow, and other rough surfaces. Ground clearance sits at 8.3 inches, so you have room to clear trail obstacles and deep snow without worry. Towing capacity tops out at 3,500 pounds, enough to haul a small boat, a trailer full of bikes, or camping equipment for the whole family. And because the Getaway is compatible with the Tesla Supercharger network, you have access to over 25,000 fast chargers across the country. A 10% to 80% charge can take as little as 30 minutes.
Three rows of seats give you room for six or seven passengers depending on your configuration. The third row folds down with power-folding seatbacks, opening up to 80.6 cubic feet of cargo volume. A foot-activated power rear gate makes loading easy when your hands are full. Our Premium trim comes with StarTex upholstery and an All-Weather Package with heated front seats. Move up to the Limited and you get a panoramic glass roof with a retractable sunshade, ventilated front and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated seats in the second and third rows. The Touring trim wraps things up with leather-trimmed upholstery and an exclusive wheel finish.
A 14.0-inch Subaru Multimedia System touchscreen comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device chargers sit up front, and USB-C ports are available in all three rows so passengers can keep their tablets and phones charged on long drives. EyeSight Driver Assist Technologies are standard on every trim, along with a driver monitor distraction mitigation system, Blind-Spot Monitor, and Parking Support Brake. On the Limited and Touring trims, you get extras like Traffic Jam Assist for low-speed hands-free driving, Lane Change Assist, Advanced Park, and Front Cross-Traffic Alert. The Limited also includes a 120V AC power outlet with 1,500 watts. A Digital Key feature and Vehicle-to-Home bi-directional charging come standard across the lineup. The Touring adds a Harman Kardon premium audio system.
